Berthelsen Beauty Bear® TAN Vitamins prepares the skin for the summer sun from the inside. TAN Vitamins is an ideal supplement for achieving a perfect lasting tan, as well as protecting the skin from sunburn.
TAN Vitamins is a strong combination of Beta-Carotene and vitamin C from Acerola, and together TAN Vitamins' functions are:
- Vitamin C helps the skin form new collagen
- Vitamin C protects the skin against oxidative stress
- Beta-carotene maintains the normal function of the skin
Start approximately 4 weeks before you want the effect of the sun, to get the best possible effect. Continue until the sun season is over. TAN Vitamins do not replace the use of sunscreen. Always use suitable SPF sunscreen when staying in the sun.

Berthelsen Beauty Bear® TAN Vitamins is a strong combination of beta-carotene and vitamin C from Acerola. Start approximately 4 weeks before you are exposed to the sun, to get the best possible effect. Continue until the sun season is over. Then you are sure to get the most out of the sun's rays while protecting your skin from getting sunburned. TAN Vitamins also help with sun eczema.
Beauty Bear TAN Vitamins contain beta-carotene, which contributes to the maintenance of the skin, as well as vitamin C, which helps with the formation of new collagen in the skin while also protecting the skin from oxidative stress.
BETACAROTEN contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and protects the skin from the sun's rays. Beta-carotene is what is called 'a precursor to vitamin A', which means that it is converted into vitamin A in the body. Beta-carotene is a carotenoid, and more specifically a carotene, which is a group of yellow and red pigments. They are found i.a. in carrots, and gives them their color. When beta-carotene is consumed over a period of time, what is called carotenemia is achieved. This means that the subcutaneous tissue becomes golden, and you get a golden skin color. When the skin becomes colored, the color forms around the pigment cells of the epidermis and gives the cell nuclei in the skin a protective layer. That we get a tan is therefore a natural protection mechanism. The beta-carotene thus causes us to get color faster, and reduces the risk of getting sunburned.
ACEROLA contains natural vitamin C, which helps the skin form new collagen and protects the skin from oxidative stress. Vitamin C is necessary to form amino acids, which are part of the protein collagen. Collagen is the tensile component in both tendons, cartilage, gums, bones, hair, nails and skin. When the skin ages, the skin becomes wrinkled, which i.a. is due to the fact that the formation of collagen decreases with age, and that collagen is broken down by UV rays from the sun. Vitamin C is therefore important to maintain the level of collagen, which is necessary to maintain the skin.
